KALGOORLIE, Sunday.
On Saturday morning a miner named William Wills, aged 58, working at the
Brown Hill Proprietary lease, was killed by a fall of earth. Deceased
was one of a party of tributers, and at the time of his death was
engaged underground at the 40ft. level with three mates. The ground was
very soft, and the fall was so sudden that the others had a narrow
escape of being killed. Deceased was a native of Cornwall.
