DEATH OF A MINER
There died at Irvinebank recently one of the pioneers of mining in the Cairns district. Mr. Trembath, senior, who in his time filled many mining and milling positions, and who for some time past had been working tin shows in the Irvinebank district. For about twelve months Mr. Trembath had been suffering from ill health following a severe attack of pneumonia, and a week prior to his death he failed very rapidly. He was a man who was well respected. He was not lucky, but he was always persevering and plucky. He was a frequent and valued contributor to the "Post," and this paper extends its sympathy to his relatives.
