VETERAN MEMBER OF MASONS IS DEAD
William Teague, 81 Years Old, Passes Away at Home of Daughter
William Teague, 81 years old, pioneer resident of Yale, B. C., died yesterday afternoon at the home of his daughter, Mrs. W. A. Noonan, of 2224 First Avenue West, where he was visiting.
Teague joined Tregullow Lodge, Free and Accepted Masons, more than sixty years ago. He came to the United States from Cornwall, England, at an early age and crossed the plains to California during the gold rush of 1849. Later he moved to Yale.
Teague leaves his widow and five daughters, Mrs. Noonan and Mrs. M. B. Johnson of Seattle, Mrs. W. W. Bailey and Miss Gladys Teague of Yale, and Mrs. F. W. Mackenrot of Golden, B. C. The body is at Butterworth & Sons. It will be sent to Yale for burial.
