NEVADA
Another Fatal Mining Accident
VIRGINIA, July 31st.—Yesterday, Richard Stevens, working at the Yellow
Jacket mine, was instantly killed by falling from the 800-foot level to
the bottom of the shaft, a distance of 309 feet. He was a native of
Cornwall, England, single, and about 30 years old.
