A WESTERN PIONEER
DUBBO, Monday.
Mrs. Fanny Ann Stanaway, of Montpelier Street, Wilston, who died
yesterday morning, aged 90, left 57 descendants. Her funeral will leave
St. Alban's Church of England, Wilston, for the Lutwyche Cemetery after
a service commencing at 11 o'clock this morning. Mrs. Stanaway, who was
born in Cornwall, came to Brisbane 62 years ago with her husband and
three children in the sailing ship Dunbar Castle, the voyage occupying
six months. She was the oldest member of the St. Alban's Church of
England Ladies' Guild, and during the last war was a keen Red Cross
worker. She is survived by two sons, three daughters, 20 grandchildren,
and 32 great-grandchildren. Her husband died 34 years ago.
STANAWAY.— The Relatives and Friends of he late Mrs. Fanny Ann Stanaway
(Relict of the late William Francis Stanaway), of Montpelier Street,
Wilston, are invited to attend her Funeral, to leave St. Alban's Church
of England, Wilston, for the Lutwyche Cemetery, after service commencing
