1901 EASTON.—Moses Smale, a pioneer in the slate business in this country, died at his home at Pen Argyl, aged 75 years. A native of Cornwall, England, Smale came to Northampton county nearly 45 years ago and engaged in the slate business, which he continued until the time of his death. Contributed by Bob Bolitho |
