DEATHS
OATES.—On the 15th September, at Pyke-street, Bairnsdale, of pneumonia, John Hersey, beloved husband of May Ann Oates, and second surviving son of the late Captain William Oates, of the Mount's Bay Volunteer Infantry (1805 to 1811), formerly of St. Just, St. Levan, and Sennen, Land's End, Cornwall, and later of Collingwood, Victoria, in his 69th year. Deeply regretted.
