MINER KILLED AT TERRY
James May Falls Down a Shaft
Lead, S. D., Feb 1.—James May, one of the most popular young miners in
the Lead district, fell forty feet in the shaft of the Sunset Mining
company, at Terry, and died yesterday from the effects of the fall. He
was a leader in several society orders and was considered the most
skillful miner in the district. His parents live at Cornwall, England,
and he has a brother here and another in South Africa.
