Tuesday 30 December 1902 Our Tingha correspondent writes:—Mr. John Martin, only son of Captain Benny Martin, died in Inverell on Christmas Day, aged 46, and leaves a widow and two children. He was a native of Cornwall, England, and has been engaged in mining at Tingha for the last 25 years. His remains were conveyed to their last resting place in the Tingha Cemetery on Saturday morning.
