Killed by Falling Rock
James Lean, aged 45 years, a miner employed at the L. S. & P. shaft, was
killed in the mine yesterday morning by a falling rock. He was shaping
the face of the drift when a rock which was hanging loose fell, striking
him on the side of the head, causing a fractured brain. He came here
from Globe; came there from Colorado; has a family in Cornwall,
England.—Bisbee Review, Jan. 12.
