CINCINNATI, O., Dec 25.—Thomas James, former President of the National
Association of Shoe Makers, died today at his suburban home at Ft.
Thomas, Ky. He was born in Cornwall, England, sixty years ago, and
located in Cincinnati in his youth.

Prominent Ohio Shoe Man Dies
CINCINNATI, Dec 25.—Thomas James, formerly president of the National
Association of Shoe Manufacturers, died today in his suburban home in
Fort Thomas, Ky. Mr. James for years was prominently identified with the
shoe manufacturing industry in this city. He retired a few years ago
after having amassed a fortune. He was born in Cornwall, England, sixty
years ago, and came to Cincinnati in his youth.

THOMAS JAMES, WEALTHY SHOE MANUFACTURER, DIES
NEWPORT, Ky., Dec. 25.—Thomas James, former president of the National
Association of Shoe Manufacturers, died today. He was born sixty years
ago in Cornwall, England, and came to Cincinnati when a youth. He became
wealthy some years ago and lived in his suburban home at Ft. Thomas, Ky.
