The Juliet (London line) left Gravesend on May 3; experienced fine weather to the Equator, which was crossed on May 28, in longitude 27° west. The south-east trades proved very light. On June 2, in latitude 14° 24’ W., Charles Hunt, a native of Cornwall, fell overboard, and was drowned, although the lifeboat was promptly lowered and every possible effort made to save him…
