DEATH OF OLD RESIDENT
TENTERFIELD, Tuesday.
The death occurred of Mr. R. I. Hicks, one of the oldest residents at
Tenterfield. He was a native of Cornwall, England, and came to this
district 37 years ago, and was interested in tin mining at Drake, Tent
Hill, and Emmaville. Mr. Hicks was a poultry farmer, and owned some very
fine specimens.
