PERSONAL
Mr. Henry Hicks, an old resident of Wilcannia, died at his residence on
Tuesday last (says the "Grazier.") He was about 80 years of age, and had
been in feeble health for years. The deceased was a native of Cornwall,
England, and came to Australia when a young man, landing in South
Australia. He followed the occupation of a well-sinker, and was
well-known throughout the Wilcannia and the Barrier districts in the
early days. He leaves a son and daughter behind him at Wilcannia.
