GOLDSWORTHY. - On the 16th June, at her residence, Rubicon street, Sebastopol, Mary White, widow of the late John Goldsworthy and loved sister of Mrs E. A Oates, if Ripon street; aged 73 years.

The late Mrs Mary W. Goldsworthy, whose death occurred at her home, Rubicon street, Sebastopol, on Thursday last, was a colonist of 63 years, and with the exception of about four years spent in South Australia, resided in Victoria. Her birthplace was Liskeard, in Cornwall. Mrs A. Oates, of Ripon street, is a sister of the deceased. The funeral took place on Friday afternoon, and was well attended by many old friends and relatives. The Rev. H. A. Keck of Lydiard street, Methodist Church, conducted a service in the home and also at the graveside in the New Cemetery. The coffin-bearers were Messrs W. Caddy, J. Uren, T. Crago, and R. Jolly. The chief mourners were Mrs Oates (sister), Miss Oates, Mrs Mutton, Mr and Mrs S. Oates, Wm. M., Frank and Jack Caddy (nieces and nephews). The funeral arrangements were carried out by Messrs F. W. Barnes and Son.
