MICHAEL CURNOW IS DEAD
Consumption ends career of mining man for twenty years foreman of
Colorado concentrator.
Michael Curnow succumbed to consumption at Williamsburg yesterday
morning at the age of 51 years. Mr. Curnow was one of the best-known
mining men of the town. He was born in England, but came to this country
early, and had been a resident of Butte for 24 years. For more than 20
years he had been foreman of the Colorado concentrator. Mr. Curnow
leaves a wife and one son, also named Michael. He was a member of the
Butte lodge, No. 21, A.O.U.W.
