DEATH.
At Goolwa, on the 12th October, from injuries received by the bursting
of a boiler on board the Lady Augusta steamer, Francis Clemes, aged 25
years, youngest son of William Clemes, St. Austell, Cornwall, England.
Transcriber's Note: Goolwa is a historic river port on the Murray
River near the Murray Mouth in South Australia, and joined by a bridge
to Hindmarsh Island. The name "Goolwa" means "elbow" in Ngarrindjeri,
the local Aboriginal language. Goolwa is approximately 100 km south of
Adelaide.
