DEATH OF JAS. H. BINNEY
James H. Binney died Thursday night at his home, 30 Taft street, in his
seventieth year, of complications following bronchitis and grip. He was
born in Cornwall. England, Feb. 27, 1846, and came to America when a
boy. He is survived by his wife, Caroline R. Binney, and six children:
P. I. Binney, J. W. Binney, E. G. G. Binney, Mrs. C. A. Frantz, Mrs. W.
A. Laity, all of this city, and Mrs. L. B. Thomas, trained nurse, of
Elizabeth, N. J.; two sisters and one brother, Samuel Binney, and Mrs.
E. J. Palmer of this city and Mrs. John Scott of England; also thirteen
grandchildren. The funeral services will be held at his late home, 30
Taft street, Monday, Feb. 7, at 2 p. m.
