PERSONAL
Mr. Henry Allen, a very old resident of East Moonta, died on Thursday
last, after an illness extending over a considerable period. The
deceased was in his 78th year. He was a native of Cornwall, his birth
place being St Austell. Some 48 years ago he left England for South
Australia, and obtained employment under the Wallaroo and Moonta Co., in
whose employ he remained until about six years ago. He leaves a widow,
three sons (Henry Jas, White Cliffs; Josephus, Snowtown; John,
Adelaide), and two daughters (Mesdames E. Mellen, Snowtown, and A.
Whiting, Adelaide).

DEATHS
ALLEN.—On the 5th February, at his residence, East Moonta, Henry, the
