This Indenture made the twenty second day of June in the year of our Lord Christ one thousand seven hundred and eighty nine and in the twenty ninth year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Third by the Grace of God of Great Britain France and Ireland King Defender of the faith and so forth Between Edmund John Glynn Captain in his Majestys seventy fourth Regiment of foot Eldest son and heir at Law of John Glynn Esquire late one of his Majestys Serjeants learned in the Law now deceased of the one part and John Santer of New Inn in the parish of Saint Clement Danes in the county of Middlesex Gentleman of the other part Witnesseth that the said Edmund John Glynn for and in consideration of the sum of five shillings of lawful money of Great Britain to him in hand paid by the said John Santer at or before the sealing and delivery of these presents the Receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged Hath Bargained and sold and by these presents Doth bargain and sell unto the said John Santer his Executors administrators and assignes All those the Mannorres Lordships of Lesnewth Treyeere and Manely Fleming with their respective appurtenances in the County of Cornwall all and every the Capital and other Messuages Cottages Mills Farms Lands Tenements Woods and wood lands and hereditaments of him the said Edmund John Glynn whereof he the said Edmund John Glynn or any person or persons whomsoever in trust for him or for his use now is or are seised of any Estate of freehold or inheritance in any possession reversion remainder or expectancy or otherwise howsoever situate lying and being in Hallawellin Dennybole Menadew Tresewk Trebyle Penpothy Tregarth Major Little Tregarth Pencarrow Duliomon Tregarthen Saint Teath Higher Pendeary Lower Pendeary Trevanion Kings Wood Hill Milland Cabilla Moreland Hole Hole Parks Synai Combe Mill Town Shecombe Killibarret Mill Park Old Cardinham Averys Green Pomeroys Old Cardinham Old Craft Culverhouse Penbugell Blackdown Cobshorne Crockwell Wester Lewarne Greenwell Hawton Pound Parks Fawton Linkin Dale Higher Steven Gelly Penrose Methern Bradaford Polwater North Grove Earlestone South Caron Penpelleck Treyoure Trenance Emiswatch Trelights Tremarland Glynn Mill Lady Moore Glynn Dreason Bouathlake Huotham Clapham Moor Castle Loggett Newland Park Bowling Green Earlston otherwise Glanvills Turnings otherwise Penpillick and in the parishes of Lesnewth Minster Lantegloss by Camelford Advent Saint Teath Michael Stow Cardinham Bodmin Saint Neot Blisland Broadoke Saint Winnow Alternon Tywardreth Saint Issey Luxulion and Endellion and in the Borough of Camelford and Bodmin or elsewhere in the said county of Cornwall And also all and every yearly Rent and Rents issuing out of and from any Messuages Lands Tenements Hereditaments situate lying and being in Culverhouse Park otherwise Beef Park and Bodmin Tregoal Twihiddy Peapoll and Torway in the parishes of Poundstock Lesnewth and Minster and in Tregarth and Trewarne in the parish of Advant or elsewhere in the said county of Cornwall of which the said Edmund John Glynn is seised or to which he is entitled And also all and every the monies parts purparts and shares of and in all and every the Manors Capital and other Messuages cottages farms lands Tenements woods and wood lands stone quarries and hereditaments of him the said Edmund John Glynn whereof he the said Edmund John Glynn or any person or persons whomsoever in trust for him or for his use now is or are seised of any Estate of freehold or In heritance in possession Reversion Remainder or expectancy or otherwise howsoever situate lying and being in Castle Mawgan Treyeere Fursdon Little Treyeere Trebant Furse Parks Clift Mavoly Clift Lerryn Trencreek Higher Lerryn and Lorryn Mill and in the parishes of Saint Lawreath and Saint Veep and in the Boroughs of East Looe and West Looe and in Newbridge Killibarrett Horestock Looball and Lidcott in the parishes of Cardinham or elsewhere in the said county of Cornwall And Also all and every the moieties parts purports and shares of all and every the yearly rent and rents issuing out of and from any Mesesuages Lands Tenements or Hereditaments situate lying or being in Llanwellyn Tregennan and Wilsland in the parishes of Liskeard and Saint Veep and in East Looe or elsewhere in the said County of Cornwall of which the said Edmund John Glynn is seised or to which he is entitled

And also those the advowsons of the churches of Cardingham and Lesnewth aforesaid in the said county of Cornwall And Also all those two Manors or Lordships of Farleigh Rose Ash Bampton West Wanford and Wembworthy with their respective Appurtenances in the county of Devon And also all and every the Capital and other Messuages cottages mills farms lands tenements woods and wood lands and hereditaments of him the said Edmund John Glynn whereof he the said Edmund John Glynn or any person or persons whomsoever in trust for him or for his use now is or are siesed of any Estate of freehold or inheritance in possession Reversion Remainder or Expectancy or otherwise howsoever situate lying and being in Ditchet Newhouse Mare Cravdhole Netcombe Radworthy Southvenny Rose Ash Town Banksland West Anstey Barn and woodland in the parishes of Tiverton Honychurch Broadkelly Rose Ash Romansleigh and Knowstone or elsewhere in the said county of Devon And also all and every yearly Rent and Rents issuing out of and from any of the Messuages Cottages Mills farms lands tenements woods and woodlands and hereditaments in the said county of Devon last above mentioned of which the said Edmund John Glynn is siesed or to which he is entitled And Also all and every the moieties parts purports and shares of and in all and every the capital and other Messuages Cottages Mills Farms Lands Tenements Oakford Bampton Rose Ash Farley Heddon Langaton Wanford Bowden Eastern Rollstone Western Rollstone wood Town Chapple Park Hay Town Bountisthorne East Chill Bradworthy Great Torrington Lower Brandsgroves Glynn Wood and in the parishes of Sulcombe Milton Damarell Parkham Alrington Bulsworthy Putford Black Torrington Bradworthy Great Torrington Winkley Wembworthy Honys and Broad Kelly or elsewhere in the said county of Devon And also all those the advowsons of the churches of Wansworthy and Rose Ash or elsewhere in the said county of Devon together with all and singular houses aforesaid Manors Messuages Mills farms lands tenements lands woods and wood lands rents hereditaments and premises and parts purports and shares of Manors Messuages Mills farms lands Tenements woods and wood lands Rents hereditaments rents and premises herein before bargained and sold or mentioned or intended so to be or any part thereof respectively belonging or appertaining or accepted reputed deemed to be for or known as part parcel or member thereof or of any part hereof and the Reversions and Reversions Remainder and Remainders Rents Issues and profits thereof and of every part and parcel thereof To have and to hold all and every the said Manors Messuages Mills farms lands tenements Rents Hereditaments and premises and parts and shares of Manors Messuages Mills Farms lands Tenements Rents and Hereditaments amd all and singular other the premises therein before bargained and sold or mentioned or intended so to be with their and every of their Rights Royalties members and appurtances unto the said John Santer his Executors Adminers and assignes from the day next before the day of the date of these presents for and during and unto the full end and term of one whole year from the next ensuing and fully to be complete and ended Yeilding and Paying therefore unto the said Edmund John Glynn his heires and assignes the rent of one pepper corn only on the last day of the said term of the same shall be lawfully demanded to the intent and purpose that by virtue of those presents and by force of the statute made for transferring uses into possessions the said John Santer may be in the actual possession of all and singular the Heredits and premises hereby bargained and sold or intended so to be with the appurts and be hereby enabled to accept and take a grant and release of the Reversion and Inheritance thereof to him and his heires in such sort manner and form as shall be therefore declared in and by an Indenture of Release intended to bear date the day next after the day of the date hereof and to be made between the said Edmund John Glynn of the first part the said John Santer of the second part and Richard Warry of New Inn aforesaid Gentleman of the third part In Witness whereof the said parties to these presents have hereunto set their hands and seals the day and year first above written
