The Will of Edward Slade, dated 14 April 1690

In the name of god amen I Edward Slade of the pish of Veryan and
County of Cornwall Gent beinge in perfect health and memory
thanks bee unto god therefore doe make and ordaine this my last
will and testament in manner and forme following
 
Imprimis I give my soule to god my maker and my body to Christian
buriall
Item I give to my sonn William Slade Sixscore pounds
Item I give to his sonn William Slade Fourtie pounds
Item I give to his sonn Beniamin Twentie five pounds
Item I give to his three daughters Frances Jane and Dorcas to
each of them Twentie pounds
Item I give to his wife Grace Slade Five pounds
Item I give unto Mary Vivian the wife of Stephen Vivian my
daughter threescore pounds
Item I give unto Dorcas and Margaret the daughters of Stephen
Vivian
to each of them Twentie pounds
Item I give unto Stephen Vivian my sonn in law Five pounds
Item I give unto my grandson Edward Slade the sonn of Charles
Slade
fiftie pounds and one tenement Ventenvearts called Couches
tenement when he shall attayn the age of sixtene and likewise I
give him after his father's decease all my right title and
interest in Parkehockens
Item I give to Mary Slade the daughter of Charles Slade Thirtie
pounds
Item I give to Margaret Slade my daughter in law tenn pounds
Item I give to my Brothers Henery Slade Nicholas Slade George

and Anthony Slade to each of them Twentie shillings to buy

Item I give unto my eldest sonn Charles Slade all my lands in
Parkehockens and to the heire male of his body lawfully begotten
and for want of such issue to William Slade my son and to the
heire male of his body lawfully begotten and for the want of such
issue to the right heirs of Charles Slade my sonn for ever and
all the rest of my goods and Chattles I give and bequeath unto my
sonn Charles Slade whome I doe nominate and ordayne to be my
executor to see this my will performed Wittnesse my hand and
seale this Fourtenth daye of April in the year of our Lord 1690
