any way concerning the said
Will was granted to Simeon
Hawkey the Son of the
said deceased and one of the
Executors named in the said Will – Reservation to Hannah
Hawkey and John Thomas the other Being first sworn

This is the last Will and Testament of me Robert
Hawkey of the Parish of Tywardreath in the County of Cornwall, Yeoman.
I give to each of my sons Samuel, Simeon and Thomas the sum of nineteen
Guineas and to each of my Daughters Ann, Lydia and Fanny the sum of Ten
Pounds to be severally paid to them as they respectively come of age.
It is my will that my wife Hannah shall carry on the farming business on
the Premises in which I now reside for the benefit of herself and such
of my children as shall be under age at the time of my death until the
youngest of such children shall attain twenty one years of age or day of
marriage which shall first happen she remaining my widow but not
otherwise and that my son Simeon shall also live on the said Farm and
manage the same in conjunction with my said wife whilst he remains
single and unmarried and no longer –
All the rest residue and remainder of my Estate and Effects Goods and
Chattels whatsoever and wheresoever I give devise and bequeath the same
unto and to the use of my said wife during her widowhood subject to the
payment of my just Debts Legacies Testamentary and Funeral charges and
on her marrying again then unto and to the use of all such children by
my said wife as shall be living at the time of such second marriage in
equal shares and proportions as Tenants in Common –
And I nominate and appoint my said wife Hannah and my said son Simeon
Executrix and Executor of this my will during such time as they shall
each remain single and unmarried and in case of the death of my said
wife during the minority of my said children or her marrying

again then I appoint my Friend John Thomas Executor of this my will
hereby revoking all former or other wills by me at any time herebefore
made do declare this to be my last will and Testament in witness whereof
I have hereunto set my Hand and Seal the twenty eighth day of November
in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty five –
