This is the last will and Testament of me Richard Hawkey of the Parish of Tywardreath in the County of Cornwall, Yeoman -
 
I give devise and bequeath unto and to the use of my beloved wife Frances Hawkey her Executors Administrators and Assigues All and singular my Estate and Effects Goods and Chattels whatsoever and wheresoever –
 
And I nominate and appoint my said wife Frances Hawkey Executrix and my friends John Sloggett and George Roberts both of Saint Blazey Executors of this my will hereby revoking all former or other wills by me at any time herebefore made do declare this to be my last will and Testament – In witness whereof I have hereunto set my Hand and Seal the twelfth day of July in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty four –
