Will of William Hocken, dated 15 October 1826

The last Will and Testament of me William Hocken of Trenarlett in the parish of St Tudy in the county of Cornwall gentleman…….
I give and bequeath to my daughter Mary the wife of John Martyn Bligh Gentleman the sum of one Hundred pounds…….
Also I give and bequeath unto my daughter Catherine the wife of Thomas West Gentleman the sum of one Hundred pounds the said several legacies to be paid herein respectively in manner following that is to say fifty pounds each at the end of six months and fifty pounds each at the end of twelve months after my decease.
Also I give and bequeath unto my grandson William Hocken West the sum of one hundred pounds to be paid him on his attaining the age of twenty one years. Also I give and bequeath unto each of my other grandchildren the sum of five pounds to be to be paid them as and when they shall respectively attain the age of twenty one years ……
And as to the rest residue and remainder of my Estate and effects real and personal whatsoever and wheresoever after payments of my debts and funeral

legacies and funeral expenses I give him and bequeath the same unto my son Harry Hocken his heirs executors administrators and assigns forever and I so hereby appoint my said son sole executor of this my will in witness whereof I have herein set my hand and seal the fifteenth day of October in the year of our Lord 1826.
