Will of Mary Elizabeth Price, dated 28 January 1876THIS IS THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT Of me MARY ELIZABETH PRICE of number 70 LEMON STREET
in the Borough of Truro in the county of Cornwall Spinster, first I
direct that all my just debts funeral and testamentary expenses shall be
paid and satisfied out of my personal Estate by my Executors hereinafter
mentioned I give and bequeath unto my Aunt Jane Reynolds now of
Woodleigh in the town of Newton in the County of Devon Widow the two
worked Brackets and a Green Easy Chair new kept in my Drawing Room at
Number 70 Lemon Street aforesaid for her lifetime and on and after her
decease I give and bequeath the same unto Cousin Catherine Mary Commins
the wife of Edward Commins of Bodmin in the said County of Cornwall I
give and bequeath unto my cousin Charles William Reynolds of Trevenson
in the parish of Illogan in the said County of Cornwall Esquire as a
trifling remembrance the two small Brackets with the China Ornaments
which are on the same and which are now in my Dining room, I give and
bequeath unto the said Catherine Mary Commins my Dressing Case together
with all my jewellery save and except what I have otherwise disposed of
under this my said Will my antique Silver Tea Pot Silver Sugar Tongs
four ancient Salt Spoons Six large Silver Prongs, Silver Punch Ladle, A
large China Bowl kept nearest to the fire place in my Dining room my
Cheval worked Screen and a framed worked Picture the subject being
"Returning from the Hay field" two Jars on my drawing room Chimney Piece
and two China Cups and saucers on the Bracket between the Drawing Room
Windows, I give and bequeath unto my Cousin William Reynolds now of 10
Moor View Terrace Mutley Plymouth in the said County of Devon Esquire
All my Bed and Table Linen which may be in my said house at the time of
my decease A large Salver and plated inkstand now in my drawing Room
Four silver Table spoons and four silver Salt spoons I give and bequeath
unto Georgiana Maria Martha Reynolds the Wife of the above named William
Reynolds all my dresses and Jackets A Tartlet Scoop, A Marmalade Stand
and Scoop my Devotional Chair Cushion with Amber at the back and the two
Japanese Cups and Saucers on my drawing room Mantle piece, I give and
bequeath unto Ethel Lucy Reynolds daughter of the above named William
and Georgiana Maria Martha Reynolds the sum of Ten pounds to be paid by
my Executors within Six Calendar Months after my decease to the said
William Reynolds for the purpose of his purchasing a Watch for the said
Ethel Lucy Reynolds to be kept in remembrance of me also my Silver Cream
Jug with a Crest on it, I give and bequeath unto my friend Dr Henry Spry
Leverton of Truro aforesaid a small Table in my Drawing room and a China
Bowl nearest the door in the Dining room. I give and bequeath unto my
dear and faithful friend Ann Spry of 81 Lemon Street in Truro aforesaid
Widow my bird Cage and birds that may be therein at my decease also two
Stools in my Drawing room with a Cat and Dog worked thereon, I give and
bequeath unto my Godson William Lewellyn Pryce Bevan son of John
Williams Bevan of Bond Street in Redruth in the said County of Cornwall
my Gold Watch, I give and bequeath unto my Servant Mary Ann Harris Gill
of Truro aforesaid my small Silver Milk Cup and the square Mahogany
Table in my dining room, I give devise and bequeath unto Mary Elizabeth
Aunger Thistle of the parish of Illogan aforesaid daughter of my late
brother George Aunger Pryce All those two Messuages or Tenements
hereditaments and premises situate in East Charles Street in Camborne in
the said County of Cornwall being numbered respectively 5 and 6 to hold
to her, her Executors and administrators assigns I also give her the sum
of Ten pounds in order that she may be enabled to pay the Heriot putting
up her own life on the said premises, I further will and direct that
immediately after my decease my said Executors hereinafter named shall
sell and dispose of or otherwise collect all my personal Estate All the
rest residue and remainder of my said personal Estate not hereinbefore
provided for I give and bequeath unto my two brothers Samuel Vincent
Pryce of Heathcote, Victoria Australia and William Reynolds Pryce of
Sandhurst Victoria Australia to be divided between them save and except
that the said Samuel Vincent Pryce shall receive the sum of Two hundred
pounds more than his brother the said The District Registry at BODMIN
