THE CUSTONTARY COURT of His Majesty George the Fourth of
the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland King
Defender of the Faith and so forth Lord of the said
Manor ? at Trevena within and for the said manor the
21st day of October 1820 before Charles Carpenter
Esquire Deputy Steward of the said Manor
WITH THIS COURT came the Reverend William Pit Bray clerk
customary heir of John Bray Esquire his father late one
of the customary tenants of the said Manor and on the
death of his mother Joyce Bray was admitted tenant for
“a third part”
ALSO for a dwelling house and garden called the Higher
House
ALSO for “the said Close excepted”
ALSO for “a third part being the residue”
ALSO “one courtlages and nine acres of land English and
one farthing of land Cornish”
ALSO “one work in the quarries there”
ALSO “for a close called Trehayle Park”
ALSO “for a third part”
ALSO for “an eighth part”
ALSO for “due Ox pasture”
ALSO for “pasture for three oxen”
ALSO for “pasture for two oxen and a half”
ALSO for “three Ox leases”
ALSO for “ six Ox leases “ respectively described as per
margin with all and singular the appurtenances thereunto
belonging parcels of the customary lands of the said
manor TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the same to him his heirs and
assigns for ever according to the custom of the manor
aforesaid by the ancient rents and services therefore
and of right accustomed and so he is admitted tenant
thereof by the pledges of Josias Robins and Francis Lobb
costoniary tenants of the said manor and he did fealty
and so forth
