In ye name of God: Amen the Eleaventh daie of Maye
in the Eighth yeare of the Raigne of oe most glorious soveraigne
Lord Kinge James, by the grace of God, Kinge of England
France & Ireland ... and of Scotland the xiiith
Ano Dni Christi 1610 I Wylliam Stoatt of St
Stephen in branell in the Countye of Cornwall tynner being
sicke in bodye but pfect of ............. god be thanked
doe make my Testamt ............Saviour my last will
in maner & forme following: first I comytt my soule
into the handes of Almightie God, my maker & Redeemer
& my body to Christian burial when it shall please Almighty
God Itm I doe give towards the Reparion of the Church
of St Stephen before sd iis Itm I doe give towards the
Reliefe of the poore of St Stephen aforesd xiid Itm I
doe give unto my brothers Richard & Stephen Stoatte
to each of them a ..... .. peice: Itm I doe give unto
my sister Ellen a ..... : I doe give unto William the
son of John Te.... my godson: a ewe. lambe: Itm all
the rest of my goods moveable & unmovable
not before given or bequeathed, I doe goive & bequeath
unto my wife Margarett whom I doe make my full
& whole executrix to see this my last will to be pformed
And allso my will is that my wife shall paye & give unto
Wm Stirke & his mother & Children vid and to Jinkin
Thomas wife & Children vid and I doe give my ....
