form before Nicholas Phillipps
Clerk Bachelor of Laws Surrogate etc
And Admion of all and
Singular the Goods etc of the said
deced or any way concerning
the said Will was and is
granted to Peter Body the
Son of the said deced and
sole Executor named therein.
Being first Sworn etc

This is the last Will and Testament of me William
Body
of the Parish of Saint Stephens in Branwell in the
County of Cornwall yeoman First I will that my just
debts and funeral charges be paid Also I give and
bequeath unto my dearly beloved Wife Elizabeth the House in
which I live, the town-place belonging thereto and also the
orchard (in which the pump is) belonging to the same tenement
to hold to her and her Assigns during so much of my term
and interest therein as shall run out and expire in her lifetime
Also I give and bequeath unto my said Wife all my
household goods and furniture of every description as and for
her own proper goods and chattells forever Also I give and
bequeath unto my said Wife all my live and dead stock of
every sort (including corn and hay) as and for her own sole
and separate property, together with the free and undisturbed
use of the barn and stables on the same tenement till the
said stock shall be returned and disposed of, and also the
liberty of keeping the live stock on such parts of the said tenement
as she shall chuse, six months after my decease. Also I give
and bequeath unto my said Wife so long as she shall live
and remain my Widow, and no longer, one clear annuity or
yearly rent charge of ten pounds by equally quarterly payments
to be payable and paid out of my said tenement by my Executor
hereinafter named with power for my said wife to distrain
thereon for the recovery thereof as in cases of non-payment of
rents Also I give and bequeath unto my daughter Jenefer
the wife of John Hocken fifteen pounds to be paid to her one
year after my decease Also I give and bequeath unto my said
daughter Jenefer from and immediately after the decease of my said
said Wife, if my said daughter shall survive her, one annuity
or clear yearly rent charge of three pounds by equal quarterly
payments to be payable and paid out of my said tenement
during so much of my interest therein as shall run out and
expire in her lifetime Also I give and bequeath unto my
Daughter Elizabeth fifteen pounds to be paid her one year
after my decease Also I give and bequeath unto my said
daughter Elizabeth from and immediately after the decease
of my said Wife the Dwelling House adjoining that in which
I live now occupied by the said John Hocken, with the rick-
place thereunto belonging and also the beforementioned
orchard which I have given to my Wife during her life. To
hold the said Dwelling House, rick-place and orchard unto my
said daughter Elizabeth her Executors Administrators and Assigns
from the death of my said Wife for and during all the residue
and remainder of my term and interest therein which shall be
then to come and expire Lastly all the rest residue and
remainder of my goods and chattels rights and credits ready
money personal estate and effects whatsoever and wheresoever
I give and bequeath unto my son Peter Body whom I
make nominate and appoint to be the Executor of this my
Will And I do hereby revoke and make void all former wills
and testamentary dispositions by me made In testimony
whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal
this sixth day of January one thousand eight hundred and
seventeen.
