Transcript of a Vestry Meeting held 17 April 1786
Memdum this 4th May 1766
At A Parish Meeting held this the 17th day of April
1786 being Easter Monday.
It was then agreed by the Parishoners then Present. That if in cause any
Person Convicted of Theft within this Parish, that all Reasonable
Expences
shall be taken out of the Poor Rates for the Prosecution of the
Offender.
But no Person to Prosecute any One without first having the Consent of
the
Majority of the Parishoners & the Prosecutor not to charge any thing for
his own Labour in Prosecuting any One.
