Collins Horace HODGE was the son of William & Susan Hodge, he was born at St. Stephens, Saltash. His birth was registered as ‘Horace Collings HODGE’ in the July Q of 1895 (St. Germans Registration District). He was known as either ‘Collins’ or ‘Collings’ HODGE.

1901 census aged 5 living with parents & siblings at Forder, St. Stephens by Saltash (Collings on this census).

1911 census aged 15 living with parents & siblings at Forder, St. Stephens by Saltash, occupation Farm Labourer, (Collins on this census).
