Indenture concerning the Estate of Roger Daniell,
May 1605
The first part is in Latin.
The condicon of this present obligation is suche that whereas the
administrators of all and singular the goods chattaills and debts of
Roger Danyell late of the parishe of Ruan Lanyhorn deceased is granted &
permitted in writinge under the seale of the Archdeacons office of
Cornwall unto shabon? bomdent? Marie Danyell, wife of the saide Ryd
Droppel, yf the same Marie Daniell doe exhibit or cause to be exhibited
in to the Archdeacons office of Cornwall a true & perfect inventorie of
all and singular the goods cattailes & debts of the said Roger Daniel
late deceased at the feast or ….. next soinge and the same goods
cattailes & debts in manner and forme followinge doe make & faithfully
adminster the same goods cattailes & debts that is to weshe doe first
paye all suche goods cattailes & debts & the said deceased did owe at
the tyme of his life & death and next after the legacies if anye more
soe far suche is the said goods cattailes & debtes will her unto wage &
defend & the same charge her and doe make or cause to be made a true
fullest & perfect accoumpt of & uppon the said administrars at all tymes
whensoever she halbe her unto required soe to doe and all suche goods
cattailes and debts as that remayne and become due or and uppon the said
accoumpt heard examined & allowed doe make and faithfully deliver
distribute & dispose in suche sorte manner and forme as by the said
competent judge shalbe limited & appointed and if …. upon hereafter
shall appeare to hand any better right title or interest unto the said
goods cattailes & debts then the said Marie Danyell who will hath or of
right right for to ..ue by virtue of the said administrars if she after
carefull warninge given doe so deliver in to the

harmless that one named Wm Lorter Trehenion Archdeacon of Cornwall her
surrended officers & imistors a gainst all …. for grantinge of the said

then his present obligaron to be voyd & of none effect or all to hand
remayne and be in full power forme …… & virtue
