Will and Inventory of Goods of Parking Crocker,
February / May
1631
In the name of god Amen the 24th day of February Anno Domi 1631
I Parking Crocker of the parish of Ruan Lanihorne in the county of
Cornwall yeoman being whole of mind & in good and full memory….. &
prayse be unto almighty god doo make & ordaine this my last will &
testament in manner & forme following, that is to first I commend my
soule to almighty god my maker & redeemer, my body to be buried in the
parish church of Ruan Lanihorne.
Item I bequeath for unto the congregation of the parish church of Ruan
Lanihorne 5s
Item I bequeath to the poor of the said parish 5s
Item I bequeath to Wm Crocker my eldest sonne my domne colte
Item I bequeath to John my sonne 5s
Item I bequeath to Henry my sonne the brown age cats & Brenda & the
white head cowe
Item I bequeath to Mary my daughter 5s
Item I bequeath to James the sonne of Will Crocker two silver spoones
Item I bequeath to Margaret the daughter of Wm Crocker 5s
Item I bequeath to Honour his daughter 5s
Item I bequeath to Jane his daughter 5s
Item I bequeath to Mary his daughter 5s
Item I bequeath to Ann his daughter 5s
Item I bequeath to Martha the daughter of John Crocker hens & a lamb
Item I bequeath to John Langdon five children forty shillings to be unto
them when they shall come to age by equall portions
Item I bequeath to Henry Crockers three children a ewe & lamm to each of
them
Item I bequeath to my brother Pascoe my best sute of apparel & my best
hat
Item I bequeath to my sister Jone Emannell her sone & her five daughters
five shillings to each of them
Item I bequeath to Peter Jeffery my coate
Item I bequeath to my sonnes all tenements and to each of them the
residue of my goods & chattels not formerly given my debts after my
debts pays my funeral expenses I formed these my legacies conveyed in
this my present Testament fulfilled I wholly give & bequest to Margarett
my wife & make her whole executore to see this my last will & testament
truly performed
