Henry Pooley and James Ferris Creditors Greeting We hereby comment and in part to you …… and …. our powers and authority to administer in due form of law the Canonical Oath ….. to James Blamey the brother and sole executor named on the last will and testament of John Blamey late of the Parish of Ruanlanihorne within our said Archdeaconry Yeoman deceased. And what you shall do herein you or …. one of you to shall execute these presents shall duly certify us or same there competent …. on their behalf as soon as you can conveniently together with these presents Given under the Seals of … Office the Second day of November in the year of our lord one thousand eight hundred and one.

Tenor of the Oath John Wallis Revd

You shall swear that the paper Greeting hereunto …… contains the true Original last Will and testament of John Blamey late of the Parish of Ruanlanihorne your late brother deceased so far as you know or believe that you will well and truly perform the Contents thereof and pay first his debts and then the legacies contained in the said Will so far as the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said deceased will thereto extend and the law charges you And that you will exhibit or cause to be exhibited unto the Officer of the Registry of the Archdeaconry Court of Cornwall a true and perfect inventory of all and singular the goods chattels and credits of the said deceased which already have or hereafter shall come to your hand possession or knowledge And yield and pass a true and just account thereof when thereunto lawfully required

This is the last Will and Testement of me John Blamey of the Parish of Ruan Lanyhorne in the County of Cornwall Yeoman
I give and bequeath unto my sister Mary Tregiddo widow the sun of five pounds
I give and bequeath unto her daughter Ann Tregiddo the sum of two pounds and one shilling
I give and bequeath unto the churchwardens of Ruan Lanyhorne the sum of five pounds and two shillings to be then distributed in Bread to the poor of the said Parish
I give and bequeath unto my … Christian …… the sum of five pounds and also the bed …., bed Clothes Bedding is thereto belonging in which she sleeps
I give and bequeath unto my nephew John Harris of Gerrans the sum of ten pounds
And I … any ….of my …. …. ….. within six months after my decease and the said … and ….. are to be delivered by my executor unto Christian ….. immediately after my decease
All the rest residue and remainder of any goods chattels estate and effects that remain and whereafter I give and bequeath unto my brother James Blamey of Camelford Butcher Would to him in …. And if …… … and I do hereby appoint …. James Blamey sole executor of this my last will and testament I certify whereof ….
