of God Amen, I William Mock of the p’ish of Roche in the
County of Cornwall yeoman finding decay in my body and
falling to Remembrance .... life of man now that all men
must submitt to the strock? Death when it shall please
Almighty God doe make this my last will and testament in
manner and forme following Imprimis I committ my soule
to Almighty God my maker & Redeemer to receive full
remission for all my Sins and my Body to Christian
buriall.
Item I doe give to my daughter Dorcas the wife of John
Parson five pounds to be payd her one yeare after my
decease.
Item I doe give to my grand son Thomas Parson one half
Ginny of Gould to be payd him within one yeare after my
decease
Item I doe give to my grand son William Parson twenty
pounds And the remainder of the twenty pounds sent by
his father John Parson by me to Exeter to bind him
Apprintice which was not done soe the money is in his
fathers hand which was sent.
Item I doe give to they younger childring of John Parson
twenty pounds which I lent to theire father to be
distributed Amongst them and too pounds to each of them
to be payd by my executrix fower yeares after my decease
Item I doe give to Cosn Joan Phillipps a halfe Ginny of
Gould
Item I doe give to Cosn William Phillipps childring
twenty shillings to each of them to be payd fower yeares
after my decease
Item I doe give to my God sun William Phillipps Jun’r of
Rosemelling one ginny of gould
Item I doe give to Nicholas Phillipps a half ginny and
to his wife a halfe ginny of gould to be payd them one
yeare after my decease
Item I doe give to my Grand son John Phillipps all the
money which I left out for the Revention(?) of a
tenement in the parish of St Wen Called and knowen by
the name of Landtowla & five pounds one yeare after my
decease
Item I doe give to my Grand son Henry Phillipps all the
money which I left out for takeing a lease of a tenement
in the parish of St Breage called & knowen by the name
of Trevanion & five pounds one yeare after my decease
Item I doe give to my Grandaughter Dorcas Phillipps
fifty pounds to bee payd within too yeares after my
decease
Item I doe give to my kinsman James Mock and to his
child A note of five pounds which I lent him in the
yeare 1708
Item I doe give to my Kinsman Thomas Williams of ye
p’ish of St Ewe twenty shillings & to his sisters Mary
Davy and to Joan Knight twenty shillings to each of them
& to Mary Davy’s daughter & Joan Knight’s childring two
shillings & sixpence to each of them to be payd one
yeare after my decease
Item I doe give to my sister in Law Mary Williams one
ginny of gould to be payd her one yeare after my decease
Item I doe give to Grace ye wife of James Luke a note
which I have against her husband James Luke of three
pounds which was lent him in ye yeare 1708 and to her
childring too shillings & sixpence to each of them to be
payd one yeare after my decease
Item I doe give to Grace ye wife of James Luke ten
shilling yearly being as a rent which is due to me out
of that parte of a tenement in Tresayes which James Luke
have in possession being ye house and meddow onder ye
same
Item I do give to all my broathers and sisters childring
too shillings & sixpence to each of them to be payd one
yeare after my decease
Item I doe give to all my God Children one shillin
apeece
Item I doe give to all my servants that are under
covenant with me at the time of my decease one shilling
apeece
Item I doe give all my parte of the Land which I have in
Burlorne in ye p’ish of Eglossayle ti nt daughter Julyan
Phillipps during her Life & after her decease too her
too sonns John and Henry Phillipps for ever.
Item I doe make my daughter Julyan Phillipps my whole
Executrix to Receive all my debts oweing unto me and to
pay all my Leagasyes unot whome I doe Give all my Goods
and Chattells not formerly Given, the better to inable
her to pay my Leagasyes and in all things to perform
this my will & testament in Wittness wheareof I have
hereunto set my hand and seal the sixth day of January
one thousand seven hundred and eighteene
