Bond dated 16 June 1755
Know all men by these presents that we
John Benallick of the parish of Truerdreth in the County
of Cornwall labourer and Henry Benallick and ?Write
Benallick both of the parish of Probus and County
aforesaid labourers are held and firmly bound unto Matt.
Truscott and Phil-- ?---e Church Wardens of the parish
of Probus and John Rook and Roger Benett Overseers of
the sd parish in the sum of fifty pounds of good and
lawfull money of Great Britian to be paid to the said
Matt Truscott Philip Hugoe John Rook and Roger Benett Ch
Wardens and overseers of the sd parish or to their
certain attornies there executors administrators ?-----
to which payment well and truly to be made we bind our
selfs our Heirs Executors Administrators and Every of
them firmly by these presents. Sealed with our Seals
dated this sixteenth day of June one thousand seven
hundred and fifty five.
Whereas Mary ?---ll of the parish of Probus and county
of Cornwall Spinster hath lately been delivered of a
Bastard Male Child and has actualy been chargable to the
sd parish of Probus Now the condishon of this obligation
is such that if the above bounded John Benallick Henery
Benallick and ?---e Benallick there Executors and
Administrators, or some or one of them do and shall from
time to time and at all times forever hereafter fully
and clearly aquitt free and Discharge, or well and
sufficiently save and keep harmless and indemdyfied the
above Named Matt Truscott Philip Hugoe John Rook and
Roger Bennett Ch Wardens and overseers of Probus aforesd
and there successors for the time being, and Every and
Either of them, as allso the Inhabitence and
parishioners of the said parish of Probus which now are
or hereafter shall be for the time being, and Every of
them of and from all manner of Expences, Damages, Cost
and Charges whatsoever, which shall or will at any time
hereafter arise hapen Grow or be imposed on them, or
ether or any of them ?--- by reason or means of the
maintenance, education, and bringing up of ?----- child,
and of and from all Manner of Actions, Suits, troubles,
charges, Damages, Demands whatsoever, touching or
concerning the same. Then this Obligation ?--- void,
Otherwise it shall be and remain in full force power and
virtue
Whose hands and ?---- interchangeably have sett ?----
