Know all Men by these Presents that we
Rachael Searle of the Parish of Ladock and County of
Cornwall, Widow, and Rachael Searle of the said Parish
Spinster, are held and firmly bound with William Kepell
and Joseph Secombe Churchwardens, and John Gummons and
William Haddy overseers of the poor of the parish of
Probus in the said County (in trust for the Inhabitants
of the said Parish) in the sum of Forty Pounds of good
and lawfull money of great Britain to be paid to the
said William Kepell Joseph Secombe John Gummons and
William Haddy or their certain Attorney, their
Executors, administrators or assigns, to which payment
well and truly to be made we bind ourselves, and each of
us, jointly and severally, and our and each and every of
our Heirs, Executors, and Administrators, firmly by
these presents. Sealed with our Seals, and Dated the
seventeenth day of February in the twenty third year of
the Reign of our sovereign Lord George the third by the
Grace of God of great Britain, France and Ireland, King
defender of the faith and so forth and in the year of
our Lord one thousand seven hundred and eighty two.
