Know all Men by these Presents that
we Henry Rowe Junr of the Parish of Probus in the County
of Cornwall Yeoman, and Henry Rowe (Senr) of Probus
aforesaid, are held and firmly bound unto John Kessell
Senr and Thomas Nankivell churchwardens, and John
Kessell, John Beel, and William Kessell, Overseers of
the Poor of the Parish of Probus in the said County (in
trust for the said parishioners of the said Parish) in
the sum of Fifty Pounds of good and lawful money of
Great Britain to be paid to the said churchwardens and
overseers, or their certain Attorney, their executors
administrators or assigns: To which payment well and
truly to be made, we bind ourselves, and each of us
jointly and severally, and our and each and every of our
heirs, executors, and administrators, firmly by these
presents; Sealed with our seals, and Dated the
twentythird day of May in the Fortieth year of the reign
of our sovereign Lord George the third of Great Britain,
France and Ireland, king defender of the faith and so
forth, and in the year of our Lord one Thousand eight
Hundred
