The Will of Johannis Motton, dated 16 July 1727

In the name of God Amen I John Motton of St Pinniock in the County of Cornwell yeoman being sick and weake in body but blessed be in perfect mind and memory Revoaking all former wills and testaments do make this my Last Will and Testament that is to say first I Resigne up my souls into the hands of Almighty god hoping for Salvation by the Merrits of Jesus Christ my Saviour and my body to be buried After the manner of Christian burial.
Imprimus
Item : I give unto my son John Motton ten pounds
Item : I give unto my son Joseph Motton ten pounds
Item : I give to my tow daughters Elizebath and Mary two penhellecks which was lately in the posesion of Thomas Warrick to be Equally divided between them and to bed furnished and six puter dishes all to be Equally divided between them.
Item : I give unto my granddaughter Elezebath Waren forever Ewe sheep
Item : I give to my Cosson Mary Cortneys children three pounds to be Equally divided between them within twelve mounths after my decease
Item : I give to my tow daughters in laws Jone Tolley and Elezebath Trute one shilling to each of them if they come and do demand it.

All the Rest of My Goods and Chattels moveable and unmoveable not formerly nor hearby given and bequeathed I give and bequeath unto my younger son Henery Motton whom I make my whole and sole Executor of this my Last Will and Testament . In Witness wheare of I have hear unto sett my hand and Seale the Sixteenth Day of July Anno Domini 1727.
