The Will of William Huchens, dated 6 February 1662

In the name of God Amen The six daye of Freb(ruary) & in the yere of our Lord God 1662 I William HUCHENS of the prish of Paule in the Countie of Cornwall Husban(dman) beeinge sicke in Bodie yett prfictt in minde And Memorie thanks Bee Given unto Allmightie God, Doe Make and ordaine this my laste will and Testament heere in this world in Mannar & Forme Following
First I Give and beequeath & Commend my Soule into the hands of Allmightie God when soever (it) Shall bee his Blessed will and plesure to ale & take the same out of this person of Flesh and soule Morttalitie stedfastly hopinge & beeleveinge by a true and litlye fayth in my only Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and by his Sole Mirtits Death and passion to bee made A ..ely partaker of a joy full resurection and my Bodie to the Earthe whereof itt is Made and to bee Buried in Christian Buriall accordinge to the Descrecion of my Executor hereafter made by this my Last will and Testament And for all (chattels & goods entitdilaments) what Chattels (mortages issues) and tenements and soever or with thappurtanances where withall itt hath Pleased God to bless mee and beestow uppon mee his weake & unprofittable Servant here in this world I will Give Devise and Beequeath as hereafter Foeleweth
First Inprimis I Give and beequeath unto my Elder Son William HUCHINS five pounds to bee paide affter his Mother death of Lawful money of England
Secondly I Give and bequeth unto Marten my Second Son Five pounds after his mother desese
Thirdly I Give and beequeath to William my third Son five pounds after his mother desese
Fourthly I Give and bequeath to Thomas my fourth Son five pounds after his mother desese
Fifthly I Give and bequeth unto John my fifth Son likewise five pounds after his mother desese
Sixly I Give and beequeth unto Susana WILLIAMS my servant twentie Shilling
All the rest of my goods and Chattells Deeds Moveable and unmoveable I Give and bequeath unto Margrett my wife whome I doe appoint and ordaine to bee My full and whole Executor to See this my Last will and Testament so formde in wittnes whereof I have hereunto sett my hand and sele the day and yere above written
