Padstow Lifeboat letter
WINDSOR CASTLE
19TH May 1900
Dear Sir,
In reply to your letter of the 11th instant addressed to
Sir Arthur Biggs, which has been laid before the Queen.
I am commanded to enclose a cheque for £25 as a donation
from H.M. to the Padstow Lifeboat Disaster Fund and at
the same time express the Queens sympathy with the
widows and families of the brave fellows who lost their
lives.
