sum of Fifty Pounds of good and [……] Money of Great

Whereas Elizabeth Reed of the Parish of North Petherwin,
Single Woman hath latly Declared shee is Now Prignant
with Child and that the said Child is Likley to be Born
a Basterd and the said Child [….] Likley to becom
chargeable to the said Parish of Northpetherwin and
Whereas the said Jonathan Tabb is the Reputed Father of
the said Bastard. Now the Condition of the within
written […] If the within Bounded Jonathan Tabb his
Heirs Executors Administrators or Assigns […] shall from
Time to Time and at all Times […] fully and Clearly
Acquit and Discharge […] well and Sufficently Save and
Keep [harmless and indemnify?] as well the above Named
Church wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said […]
and their Successors for the time being […] the Other
Parishioners […] Parish of Northpetherwin […] shall be
for the time being […] of Costes Taxes Rates […] Charges
[…] Eddecation and maintainance […] which shall or may
in any manor or at any time hereafter shall Happen to
grow Due or be […] them or Any or Either of them or
which they or any of them shall or may at Any Time bear
pay sustain […] Unto for or by reason or means of the
said Basterd Child and of and from all Actions Suits
Troubles and Other Charges and Demand whatsoever
Touching or Conserning the same Child that then this
Present Obligation shall be Void and of none Effect
Otherwise to be and Remain in full force Power and
Virtue.
