Know all men by these presents That we [wee] William King Senior Senr and William King Junior Junr both of the parish of Morwinstow in the County of Cornwall, Masons, do own [owne] and acknowledge our Selves to be holden and firmly do stand bound unto Zachariah Ham & Joseph Hutchings Church Wardens of the parish [p’ish] of Morinstow aforesaid [afd] and Richard Braginton and John Trick Overseers of the same parish [p’ish] as aforesaid [afd] in the Sume of One Hundred and Fifty pounds of a good and Lawfull money of Great Brittain And to be paid unto them the sd Zachariah Ham Joseph Hutchings Richard Braginton or John Trick their certain attorney their successors or assigns to them or either of them To the which payment well and truely to be made wee do hereby bind our Selves our Heirs Executors and Administrators [Adms] firmly by these presents sealled with our Seals dated the Five and Twentieth Day of February in the year of Lord Christ One Thousand Seven Hundred and Sixteen.

The Condition of this Obligation is Such That whereas Mary Petherick, Single Woman, the Daughter of Henry Petherick of the said [sd] parish [p’ish] and County aforesaid [afd] hath of late been delivered of a Female Child within the aforesaid [fd] parish of Morinstow (called by the name of Elizabeth). If therefore the above bounden William King Senr and William King Junr their Heires Executors Admrs or Assignes or every and either of them do from time to time and at all times hereafter fully and cleerly acquit and discharge and Save harmless as well the said within named Zachariah Ham and Joseph Hutchings Church Wardens Richard Braginton and John Trick Overseers of the sd Parish aforesaid [afd] And their Successors for the time being and every of them as also all the Inhabitants and parishioners of the sd parish which [wch] now are or hereafter Shall be for the time being and every of them of and from all manner of Costs charges and Expences whatsoever which shall or may in any manner of ways [Waise] at any time here after arise happen come grow or be Imposed upon them or any of them for or by reason or means of the Birth education nourishment and bringing up of the sd Child And of and From all other Actions Suites charges troubles Impeachments and Demands whatsoever touching and concerning the Same That then this present Obligation to be void and of no Effect nor value Or else to stand remain and be in full power force and virtue.
