The Will of Otho Trebell,  dated 5 October 1742

In the Name of God Amen I Otho Trebele of the Parish of St Minver in the county of Cornwall Yeoman being well stricken in age but of sound and Disposeing mind and memory Praised be almighty God for the same but being somewhat Infirmity in Body do while I have this Opportunity make and Declare this my last Will and Testament in manner following and first being Truly Penent for all my sins humbly Desire forgiveness for the same I commit my Precious and Immortal Soul into the hands of God Almighty that gave it and my Body to be Decently Buried and as for my Temporal Goods in Manner following
Imp. I give and bequthe to my dearly beloved wife Ten Shillings in money to be paid in Two year after my Death. Item I give to my eldest son Richard Trebele Ten Shillings to be paid in two years after my Decease. Itm I Give to be Daughter Joan Trebele Ten Shilling to be paid Twoo Year after my disseas. Itm I Give to my Daughter Mary Guy Ten Shilling to be paid in Two Year after my Death. Itm I Give to my Daughter Elizabeth Trebele Twenty Pounds to be paid in Two Year after my Diseas. Itm I Give and Bequeath unto my son William Trebell all the Remainder Parts of my Goods and make him my Executor of this my last Will and Testament hereby revokeing all former Wills by me heretofore made in True Testimony of this as my last Will and Testament I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 5th Day of October 1742.

The aforewritten was proven in Comon Forme the Twelfth day of December 1746, Before the Revd Mr William Wadden, Clerk, Mr of Arts Official etc and Admion of the Goods etc of the Said Deced and of all things howsoever concerning his said Will was granted to Catherine Trebell his widow and Relict of the Sd Deced and the Guardian lawfully assign’d and admitted during the minority of William Trebell the son and executor named in the said Will being first sworn etc saving etc

The before written Will is a true Copy of the Last Will and Testamt of the abovenamed Otho Trebel deced Examin’d and compared with the original the 21 day of December 1746 by us
