04-Sep 1843 At a Vestry meeting duly called and holden in the vestry room of the parish of St Michael Penkevil this day, for the purpose of making a date to meet the call made on the said Parish by the Board of Guardians amounting to £42.  Resolved that a rate of one shilling in the Pound be forthwith made and collected to meet the said Call.   Henry Heming, James Rouse, Churchwardens  James Dodd, Overseer
25-Mar 1844 At the annual Vestry held this 25th day of March 1844.  Persuant to Notice for the purpose of examining and auditing the accounts of the Parish Officers, and for the appointing fit and proper persons for the officers undermentioned.

Resolved that the nomination of Mr Rouse as Guardian is in accordance with the wishes of this meeting.
2. That Henry Fleming Esq and Mr James Rouse be appointed Churchwardens.
3. That Mr James Dodd and Mr James Rouse be appointed Overseers.
4. H Fleming Esq and Mr James Dodd, Waywardens
5. That Mr J Dod be Assessor.
That a rate of 5d. in the pound be made and forthwith collected for the necessary repairs of the Church and for the due performance of divine Service during the past year.
That a rate of 1sh in the pound be made for the relief of the Poor and
That a rate of 5d be made for defraying the expenses of the Highways for the past year.
The ???? accounts for the past year were examined and approved.
Moved by Mr James Rouse and seconded by Mr James Dodd, that the thanks of the parishioners be tendered tot he Righ Honble George Henry, Earl of Falmouth for his gift of a handsome velvet(?) covering for the Communion Table - and for other improements in the Church during the past year.

31-Mar 1847 At the annual General Vestry held this 31st day of March 1847, pursuant to notice, the accounts of the Churchwarden's, Overseers' and Surveyor of the Highways were examined and passed.
It was at the same time Resolved that the Rev Frederic Webber be respectfully requested to continue the office of Guardian of the Poor in the ensuing year and that the Overseer nominate him accordingly.
Resolved that Henry Heming and James Rouse be reappointed Churchwardens for the ensuing year.
Resolved that William Pascoe and James Rouse be reappointed Overseers of the Poor for the ensuing year and that they be also appointed surveyors of the Highways.
Resolved that James Rouse be appointed Assessor
Resolved that William Pascoe, Hugh Collett, John Blenkinsop and James Rouse be nominated to the Magistrates agreeable to notice at the next Petty Session to be held at Truro.
Resoled that a rate of 3d in the £ be made to defray the expenses of the Churchwardens.
Resolved that a rate of 4d in the £ be made to pay the call from the Board of Guardians
Resolved that a rate of 1d in the £ be made to defray the expenses of the surveyors of the highways

29-Mar 1848 At the Annual General Meeting of the Vestry held this 29th day of March 1848 pursuant to notice, the accounts of the Churchwrdens, Overseers and Surveyors of the Highways were examined and approved.
It was at the same time resolved that the Rev Frederic Webber be respectfully requested to continue the Office of Guardian of the Poor for the ensuing year and that the Overseer nominate him accordingly.

24-Apr 1848 At a Meeting specially convened by the Rector for the purpose of effecting a new arrangement with theChoir, and for fixing the amount of Salaries and Sum to be paid for Music books etc.
Resolved, that the sum of Two pounds twelve shillings be paid to the Members of the Choir in equal proportions according to the number of days of attendance of each member.
And that a further sum not exceeding fifteen shillings be paid for Music Books, Strings etc., on proper vouchers being produced for the same.

28-Mar 1849 At the Annual General Meeting of the Vestry held this 28th of March 1849 pursuant to Notice, the accounts of the Churchwardens, Overssers and Surveyors of the Highways were examined and approved.

A rate of 4d in the pound for the repairs and other matters connected with the Church, as passed.
A way rate of 4d in the pound was passed.
Resolved that W. C. Foulkes Esq and Wm. Pascoe be appointed overseers.
Wm. Pascoe was also appointed Waywarden and Assessor.

A church rate of 4d in the pound was passed.
A way rate of 4d was requested and passed and it was agreed to allow Mr Pascoe for time and trouble £5. 0. 0. per annum.

24-May 1859 St Michael Penkevill.  At a public vestry of the ratepayers and inhabitants of this Parish held by a?ournment in the Vestry Room of the said Parish on Thursday the twenty fourth day of March one thousand eight hundred and fifty nine at 12 oclock at noon in pursuance of a Public Notice for that purpose duly given.  The ReverendFrederick Webber Rector of the said Parish in the Chair
Resolved that insmuch as the Tower attached to the Parish Church has been found, on examination, to be greatly in decay and to be unsafe for carrying and ringing bells, it be taken down and restored in the same form and of the same size so far as may be practicable.

19-Dec 1861 Notice is hereby given that a Vestry will be held in the Church of this Parish on Thursday the 19th day of December instant at 12 o'clock at noon for the purpose of considering and determining on the course to be taken with reference to the Parish Church - the samebeing reported to be in an unsafe condition and not fit, in its present state, to be further used for the celebration of Divine Worship.

At a vesgtry duly convene and held here by adjournment from the Church this day for the purpose of considering and determining on the course to be taken with reference to the Church of this Parish the same having been reported to be in an unsafe and dangerous state and not fit for the further celebration of divine worship therein
Resolved that inasmuch as certain parts of the fabric of the church (including the Chancel) are in an unsafe and dangerous condition it is expedient that the same should be taken down and rebuilt.
The Right Honorable Evelyn Viscount Falmouth the owner of all the lands in the said Parish (except the Glebelands) having spontaneously offere to take down such parts of the fabric of the said Church (including the Chancel) as may require it and restore the same at his own expense on the site and of the size and form of the present building.
Resolved that his offer be gratefully accepted and he is hereby authorised to enter and take down and rebuild the same accordingly - and in order to avoid all possible doubt or misapprehension it is hereby declared that the said Church and Chancel after the same shall have been restored, shall at all times hereafter be repaired and kept in repair by the ratepayers and rector of the said Parish for the time being in the same manner as has heretofore been done.
