Yeoman deced proved in
Common form before
Joseph Fayrer Clerk B.A.
Surrogate Etc
And Admion of
all and Singr the Goods etc
of the said deced every way
concerning the said Will, was
and is granted to Richard
Body
the Son of the sd deced
& one of the Exors named in the
sd Will, with Reservation to
Rebecca Body the Widow of
the sd deced & the other Exor named
in the sd Will When etc
Being first Sworn etc
Saving etc
No Inventory
 
In the Name of God Amen I Thomas Body
of the Parish of St Mewan in the County of Cornwall Yeoman being weak in
Body but of sound and disposing Mind Memory and Understanding Thanks be given unto
God therefore but considering the Uncertainty of Life do make this my last Will and Testament
in Manner following that is to say, First I give unto my son Edward Body from and
after the Death of his Mother Rebecca my Dear Wife All that my House and Garden
in Polgooth now inhabited by George Arthur, And I also give him after the Death of
my said Wife the Orchard now in the Possession of Capt James Phillips, Also I give
unto my Grandson Thomas Body my young Colt. Also I give unto each and
every of my Daughters
the Sum of Five Pounds to be paid them respectively within one
year next after my Decease, All the Rest Residue and Remainder of my Goods
and Chattels Rights and Credits and Personal Estate whatsoever and wheresoever not
herein before given and disposed of I do give and bequeath unto Rebecca my Dear Wife
and my son Richard Body Share and Share alike equally, but my Will is that my said
Wife shall enjoy all my Household Goods entirely during her Life without any Division
And I do hereby make & appoint my said Wife and my said Son Richard Body
Executors of this my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I have to
this my last Will set my Hand and Seal the Seventh Day of August in the Year of
our Lord One Thousand eight Hundred and Eleven

Signed Sealed Published and Declared by the Testator
Thomas Body for and as his last Will and Testament in the
Presence of us who did each of us inscribe our Names as
Witnesses at his Request and in his Presence
