This Indenture of four parts made the ninth day of January in the forty sixth year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the third by the grace of God of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland King Defender of the faith and in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and six Between John Elvins of the Parish of Mevagissey in the County of Cornwall Talor of the first part, John Higman of the Parish of Saint Austell in the said County Druggist of the second part, The Reverend Nicholas Phillips of the Borough of Bodmin in the said County Clerk of the third part and William Jenkins Roberts of the Parish of Ruan Lanyhorne in the said County Yeoman of the fourth part Witnesseth that the said John Elvins John Higman and Nicholas Phillips for and in consideration of the sum of Five shillings of lawful Money of Great Britain to them in hand paid by the said William Jenkin Roberts at and immediately before the sealing and delivery of these presents the Receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged Have and each of them Hath bargained and sold and by these presents Do and each of them Doth bargain and sell unto the said William Jenkin Roberts his Heirs and Assigns All those parts of all and singular the Houses and Cellars in Porthilly otherwise Lavorack in the Parish of Mevagissey aforesaid called or commonly known by the name of Malthouse Tenement formerly in the occupation or possession of Jacob Thomas late in the several occupations of Roger Pascoe and John Cock And also all those parts of the Houses and Cellars commonly called the Malthouse Tenement late in the several occupations of Sampson Ball Philip Fook James Philp and James Brockensha and now held by or in the several occupations of William Jolly the said James Philp James Brockensha and Thomas Hunkyn or Peter Furse or one of them or their Undertenants And also all those other Houses and Cellars in Porthhilly otherwise Lavorack in the said Parish of Mevagissey formerly in the tenure of William Dunn deceased and since of the said James Dunn deceased his Undertenant or Undertenants bounded on the West with the Court and Palace late of Roger Ball deceased on the South with the Kings high way leading to the Quay on the East with a House late of John Stephens and on the North with a Garden of the said John Stephens And also all that Dwelling House and Garden situate lying and being in Porthilly otherwise Lavorack in the Parish of Mevagissey aforesaid bounded on the East with a Backside formerly belonging to William Dunn on the West with a Plot of Land anciently belonging to Philip Ball on the North with a Barn and Stable anciently belonging to the said Philip Ball and on the High way which said last mentioned Dwelling House and Cellar are also situate lying and being within the Parish of Mevagissey aforesaid and are bounded on the West with the Way anciently leading into Roger Balls Cellar on the North with the said Cellar on the East with the Dwelling House formerly of one William Dunn and on the South with the High way Leading towards the Quay of Porthilly which said last mentioned Dwelling House and Cellars were formerly in the possession of Elizabeth Pascoe then of Edward Jagoe deceased and are now or lately were held by or in the occupation of Benjamin Harris his Undertenant or Undertenants And also all that Dwelling House containing One Ground Room and two Chambers over the same with a small Courtlage before the Door being part of the Premises formerly in the possession of Philip Ball deceased situate in Porthilly otherwise Lavorack within the Parish of Mevagissey aforesaid late in the occupation of Elizabeth Ball and Thomas Bunt and now or late held in the occupation of William Bunt And also all that one Dwelling House situate in Mevagissey aforesaid which formerly belonged to Lidwell Wilcock the Daughter of John Brockensha late of Mevagissey aforesaid together with a little Garden Plot adjoining to the said House which was formerly in the possession of John Brockensha Brother of the said Lidwell Wilcock and afterwards of William Kendall which said last mentioned Dwelling House and Garden now or lately were in the tenure or occupation of Peter Furse his Undertenant or Undertenants together with all and singular Outhouses Edifices Buildings Ways Paths Passages Privileges Advantages Rights Members and Appurtenances whatsoever to the said Tenements Hereditaments and premises mentioned and intended to be hereby granted and released or any of them or any part thereof situate respectively belonging or in any wise appertaining or to or with the same or either of them or any part thereof respectively now or at any time heretofor demised leased held used occupied possessed or enjoyed or accepted reputed deemed taken or known as part or member thereof or any part thereof respectively To have and to hold the said Tenements Hereditaments and Premises hereinbefore by these presents bargained and sold or meant mentioned or intended so to be and every part and parcel thereof with their Appurtenances unto the said William Jenkin Roberts his Heirs and Assigns from the day next before the day of the date of these presents for and during and unto the full end and term of One whole year from thence next ensuing and fully to be complete and ended yielding and paying therefore at the end of the said Term the Rent of a Pepper Corn if the same shall be lawfully demanded, To the end intent and purpose that by virtue of these presents and by force of the statute for transferring uses into possession he the said William Jenkin Roberts may be in the actual possession of All and singular the said Tenements Hereditaments and Premises  herebefore by these presents bargained and sold or intended so to be and every part of parcel thereof with the appertenances and thereby enabled to take and possess of a Grant Release of the Reversion and Inheritance thereof to and for the only use and behoof of the said William Jenkin Roberts his Heirs and Assigns forever In Witness whereof the said Parties to these presents have hereunto set their hands and seals the day and year first above written
