The Will of Hannah Mutton,  proved 2 September 1763

In the Name of God Amen. The 12th Day of August 1757 I Hannah Mutton of the Parish of Menheniott in the County of Cornwall Widow being in good Health and of Sound and perfect Memory do make this my last Will and Testament as followeth First I recommend my Soul into the hands of Almighty God and my Body to decent Christian Burial.
 
I Give and Bequeath unto my Daughter Hannah Rogers Twenty Pounds of lawfull money of Great Britain to be paid at the end of one year next after my Decease.
I Give and Bequeath unto my Daughter Mary Lyne Twenty Pounds of lawfull Money of Great Britain to be paid at the end of one year next after my Decease.
I Give and Bequeath unto my son William Mutton of like lawfull money to be paid at the end of one year next after my Decease.
I Give and Bequeath unto my Daughter Jane Coad Five Pounds of like lawfull Money to be paid at the end of one year next after my Decease.
I Give and Bequeath unto my Grand Children Jane, Hannah and John the Son and Daughters of my Son John Mutton and to each of them the sum of Forty Shillings to be paid unto each of them when they do attain the age of one and Twenty years respectively and my Will and meaning is that if any or either of them do happen to die under the Age of One and Twenty years the Survivors of them shall have his or her Legacy divided equally between them.
I Give and Bequeath unto my Grand Children Mary, William, Jane, Jacob and John the Children of Son William Mutton aforesaid and to each of them the sum of Forty Shillings to be paid unto each of them when they do attain the age of One and Twenty Years respectively and my Will and meaning is that if any or either of them do happen to die under the Age of One and Twenty Years the survivors of them shall have his her or their Legacy or Legacys divided equally between them.
I Give and Bequeath unto my Grand Children John, Richard, Samuel, William, Mary and Sampson, the Children of my Daughter Mary Lyne aforesaid and to each of them the sum of Forty Shillings to be paid unto each of them when they do attain the Age of One and Twenty Years respectively and my Will and meaning is that if any or either of them do happen to die under the Age of One and Twenty Years the Survivors of them shall have his her or their Legacy or Legacys divided equally between them.
All the Rest, Residue and Remainder of my Goods, Chattels, Credits and Effects I do Give and Bequeath unto my Son John Mutton and I do make and ordain him to be my Whole and Sole Executor and Residuary Legatee of this my Last Will and Testament. In Witness whereof I have here unto sett my hand and Seal the day and date first written above.
