In the Name of God Amen
I SARAH POMERY of the Borough of Lostwithiel in the County of Cornwall Spinster being of sound mind memory and understanding do make this my last Will and Testament in manner following I give and bequest unto ANN HARVEY my Servant the sum of forty pounds as a remuneration for her faithful services I also give to my Brother PHILIP T POMERY the sum of 100 pounds which said legacies I direct to be paid at the and of six months after my decease I give and bequeath all my household goods and furniture to my Sister ELIZABETH CURGENVEN I give all my wearing apparel to my sister GRACE POMERY All the rest residue and remainder of my goods chattels estate and effects of what nature or find soever I give and bequeath unto my said Sisters ELIZABETH CURGENVEN and GRACE POMERY their executors administrators and assigns equally to be divided between them share and share alike. AND I HEREBY APPOINT my said Sisters ELIZABETH CURGENVEN and GRACE POMERY JOINT EXECUTORS of this my last Will and Testament IN WITNESS whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the fifteenth day of January one thousand eight hundred and twenty two …………….. I SARAH POMERY of the Borough of Lostwithiel in the County of Cornwall Spinster do add this codicil to my Will --- In consequence of the death of my Sister GRACE POMERY I now APPOINT my Brother PHILIP TINGCOMBE POMERY acting EXECUTOR for my Sister CARGENVEN & beg to buried at Lostl & let Mr JOHN PHILP make me a wall Grave our ? of Brick. I have gave him my order I wish a neat Coffin covered with Clark Cloth & to be buried early in the morning to have more bearers five shillings each Mr BORER & Mr J PHILP hat band & gloves I also request my said Brother P T POMERY to pay ANN HARVEY my servant the £40 named on my Will & her wages due I also give ANN HARVEY her bed & bedding & sufficient furniture for a room all my wearing apparel & a good suit of mourning I also give to Brother P T POMERY all my remaining furniture goods chattels & effects of what nature of kind soever. In the Goods of SARAH POMERY Spinster deceased

Appeared Personally JOHN PHILP of the Borough of Lostwithiel in the County of Cornwall Builder and made oath that he is one of the subscribed Witnesses to the Codicil to the last Will and Testament respectively hereto annexed of SARAH POMERY late of the Borough of Lostwithiel in the County of Cornwall Spinster deceased the said Will bearing date the fifteenth day of January one thousand eight hundred and twenty two and the said Codicil the twenty sixth day of May one thousand eight hundred and forty six And the depocient further made oath that on the twenty sixth day of May aforesaid the Testatrix duly executed the said Codicil by signing her name at the foot or and thereof in the presence of depocient and of MARY HILL late of Lostwithiel aforesaid Spinster the other subscribed Witness thereto they all being present together and depocient and the said MARY HILL thereupon attested and subscribed the said Codicil in the Presence of the said Testatrix and of each other ___________ JOHN PHILP ________ On the sixth day of August 1849 the said JOHN PHILP was by virtue of the annexed Commission duly sworn to the tenth of this Affidavit ____________ By me JOHN BOWER, Commissioner, Vicar of the
