By God’s Permission
I Richard Martin of Fordawithun in the Parish of Lanteglos by Camelford in the County of Cornwall Gentleman hereby revoking all former Wills by me made. Do make publish and declare this my last Will and Testament in manner following. I give unto my two Daughters Mary James and Margaret Browning the sum of Ten Pounds each to be paid within one year next after my Death. Also I give devise and bequeath unto my Daughter Maria Seccombe All these my Duchy hold Messuages Lands and premises with the appurtenances called Rorda Binglas, Dannan’s Close, and Boney’s House and Orchard, all situate lying and being within the said parish of Lanteglos by Camelford. To hold to her my said Daughter Maria Seccombe her Heirs and Assigns for ever Subject nevertheless with the annuity next hereinafter given there out. And I do hereby give and grant unto my Daughter Elizabeth Bastard for and during her life time one annuity clear yearly rent charge or Sum of Eight Pounds free of all Taxes and outgoings whatsoever, and to be issuing due and payable out of my aforesaid Duchy hold Messuages Lands and premises and to be paid to her my said Daughter Elizabeth Bastard by even quarterly payments the first whereof to be made at the end of the first whereof to be made at the end of the first 3 calendar months next after my death with such free and free liberty of entry and distress and sale thereof in consequence of nonpayment of her said annuity or any part whereof within the space of 28 days after the same shall become due and payable as aforesaid and not paid when demanded as the Law directs in case of nonpayment of rent in arrear ALL the rest residue and remainder of any (my) goods chattels rights credits and personal estate and effects whatsoever and where so ever I give the same and every part thereof unto my daughter Maria Seccombe sole Executrix and Residuary Legatee of this my last will and testament IN WITNESS whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 23rd day of January 1821
Signed sealed declared and published by the said Richard Martin Testator as and for his last will and testament in the presence of us who at his request in his presence of each other have subscribed our names
