Indenture Mathews Park Lantaglos This Indenture made
the first day of November in the eight and twentieth
yeare of the reigne of our Sovraigne Lord Charles the
Second by the grace of God of England, Scotland, France
and Ireland King defender of the faith etc Betweene John
Mollis of the parishe of Michaelstow in the County of
Cornwall yeoman on the one parte, and John Pearse the
younger of the parishe of Lanteglos by Camelford in the
said County yeoman of the other parte Witnesseth that
the said John Mollis as will for and In consideration of
the surrender and yeelding upp of a former Lease of the
premisses hereafter mentioned formerly made as of the
summe of thirty five pounds lawfull money of England to
him in hand paid and satisfide by the said John Pearse
before the sealing and delivery hereof the receipt
whereof he doth hereby acknowledge and thereof doth
release and discharge the said John Pearse his heires
executors and administrators by theis presents hath
.......and leased granted and to farme lettenants by
theis presents doth demise lease grante and to farme let
unto the said John Pearse his executors adminstrators
and assigns all those three Closes of Land with the
appurtenances comonly called and knowne by the name of
Mathews Parkes scituate lying and being in Trefrew
within the said parishe of Lanteglos and County
aforesaid late in the possession of Anstice Pearse
Spinster, and now in the possession of the said John
Mollis his assigne or assignes, and alsoe all wayes
paths waters water courses watering places, easements
profittes earned and advantages whatsoever to the said
Closes belonginge or apporteyning To have and to hold
the said demised premises with the appurtenances unto
the said John Pearse his executors adminstrators and
assignes from the day of the sale herein(?) for and
during and unto the full end and terme of ninety nine
years hence next In serving fully to be compleate and
ended If Anne Pearse and Alice Pearse daughters of the
said John Pearse and Anstice Pearce of the ..... parishe
and Countye aforesaid spinster any or either of them soe
longe shall happen to live Yeelding and payinge
therefore yearly unto the said ..... Mollis his heires
and assignes the rent of seven shillings of Lawfull
money of England on the four dayes of payment in the
yeare most usuall that is to say the five and twentieth
day of December the five and twentieth day of March the
fowre and twentieth day of June and the nine and
twentieth day of September by equall portions to be
devided and paid yearly during the said terme And Also
yealding and paying forty shillinges for and in lieu of
a herriott or Farlieve upon the death of every of them
the said Anne Pearse Alice Pearse and Anstice Pearse
provided that living the said Anne noe summe of forty
shillings for a herriott to be paid upon the death of
the said Alice and Anstice or either of them, nor upon
the death of the Anstice living the said Alice Repairing
alsoe susteyning and maintayning the said demised
premises and in all wayes gates ditches and fences when
and as often as need shall require during the said terme
and in the end of the terme with all thinges well
repaired and amended shall and will leave and yeald up
And if it shall happen the said yearly rent of seven
shillings or any parte the rente be behind and unpaid by
the space of six monthes or more next after anyday of
the said dayes of payment in which the same ought to be
paid as aforesaid being lawfully demanded as first paid
and noe insufficient distress in all that ? ? in the
said premises
